Courses

DART trains individuals, groups, and organizations in disaster rescue, response, and initial recovery to fill the gap between when a disaster strikes and when first responders and governmental officials are able to help.

Floods and Moving Water

Many of the deaths during tropical storms and hurricanes occur because of storm surges and floods. DART’s Floods and Moving Water Training focuses on the skills needed to survive the worst parts of the storm and rescue others at risk.

Modern Urban Survival

Many disaster victims live in urban and suburban areas. DART’s Modern Urban Survival Training focuses on the skills needed to survive in urban and suburban areas in the days following a disaster.

Disaster First Aid

Victims of injuries during disasters may not be able to access medical services such as ambulances, clinics, and hospitals for hours or days after disaster strikes. DART’s internationally recognized Disaster First Aid Training focuses on the skills needed to provide first aid to disaster-related injuries.

Other training

DART offers additional advanced and specialized training that includes volunteering/working in a disaster zone, disaster debris removal, saw operations, firefighting techniques, and more upon request.
